Bazanova Art LLC ("Bazanova Art," "we," "us," or "our"), a Florida limited liability company, operates the website bazanova.art and the online learning platform painting.eduonline.io (collectively, the "Services"), through which we offer online painting and visual art courses, master classes, and related educational content.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, the choices and rights you have, and how we protect your information. It applies to visitors, students, customers, and other users of the Services.
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Account & registration data: full name, email address, password, mailing address, phone number, and date of birth.
Order & payment data: purchase history, billing address, course and tier selected, and transaction identifiers. Payment card details are entered on our payment processor's page and are not stored on our servers.
Student-generated content: photographs of your artwork, homework submissions, chat messages, and any other content you upload to the platform or share in student community channels.
Customer-support data: records of your communications with us by email, web form, chat, or phone.
Marketing preferences: consent choices for newsletters, promotional emails, and similar communications.
3.2 Information Collected Automatically
Device & log data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, referring URL, and dates and times of access.
Usage data: lessons viewed, modules completed, time spent, clicks, and other engagement metrics on the platform.

3.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive limited information from payment processors (e.g., confirmation that a payment cleared), analytics providers, advertising partners, and social media platforms when you interact with our content there.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
To create and maintain your account and provide access to the courses and platform features you purchased.
To process payments, issue refunds, and prevent fraudulent transactions.
To deliver, personalize, and improve the Services, including curriculum, recommendations, and customer experience.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as described below:
Service providers: payment processors, hosting and infrastructure providers, learning platform vendors (including the operator of painting.eduonline.io), email and SMS delivery services, analytics tools, and customer-support tools. These providers are contractually required to safeguard your information and use it only to provide services to us.
Instructors and course administrators: limited information necessary to deliver instruction, evaluate assignments, and operate student communities.
Professional advisors: attorneys, accountants, and auditors, where reasonably necessary.
Legal & safety disclosures: when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, court order, or governmental request, or is necessary to protect rights, property, or safety.
Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, in which case personal information may be transferred to the successor or acquirer.
With your consent or at your direction: for example, when you publish your artwork to a public student gallery or social media.
For purposes of California law (CCPA/CPRA) and Florida law, our use of analytics and advertising cookies may constitute "sharing" or a "sale" of personal information. See Section 11 for how to opt out.
7. Information About Other People; Public Content
If you submit a review, post in a community channel, or otherwise share content on the Services, that content may be visible to other users. Do not post personal information about others without their permission. Content you make public is no longer private and we cannot control how others may use it.
8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, web beacons, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and deliver relevant marketing. Cookie categories we use:

Account & course access records: for the duration of your access to the course (typically 1-2 years from purchase) plus up to 3 years thereafter.
Transaction and tax records: at least 7 years to comply with U.S. tax and accounting requirements.
Customer-support correspondence: up to 3 years from the last interaction.
Marketing data: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, plus a short suppression-list retention.
Backups & logs: up to 12 months, on rolling deletion cycles.
10. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive fields, access controls, and vendor due diligence. 11. Your Privacy Rights
11.1 Rights Available to Residents of Florida, California, and Other U.S. States
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal information:
Right to know / access: request confirmation of whether we process your personal information and obtain a copy of it.
Right to correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information.
Right to delete: request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
Right to data portability: receive your personal information in a portable, readable format.
Right to opt out of sale or sharing: opt out of the sale of your personal information and of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Right to opt out of targeted advertising and profiling: opt out of certain automated decision-making and profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Right to non-discrimination: we will not deny you services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of quality for exercising your rights.
Right to appeal: if we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; we will respond within the period required by your state's law.
11.2 How to Exercise Your Rights
Submit a request by emailing privacy@bazanova.art or by writing to the address in Section 2. We will verify your identity using information you have provided to us, then respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (generally 45 days, extendable once for an additional 45 days).
You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification of the agent's authority.
11.3 Notice of Financial Incentives
We do not currently offer financial incentives or price differences in exchange for personal information.
11.4 "Shine the Light" (California)
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about the disclosure of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
12. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (including for cross-context behavioral advertising), email privacy@bazanova.art with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Information," or use the "Your Privacy Choices" link on our website. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals from your browser.
13. Children and Minors
The Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not direct the Services to children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it. Parents and guardians who believe their child under 13 has provided us with personal information should contact us at privacy@bazanova.art.
We may permit individuals between the ages of 13 and 17 to use the Services with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian must complete enrollment, agree to our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, and remain responsible for the minor's use of the Services. Minors and their guardians may exercise the rights described in Section 11 at any time.
We do not knowingly sell or share for cross-context behavioral advertising the personal information of consumers under 16 without the affirmative consent required by applicable law.
14. International Users and Data Transfers
We operate from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your personal information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).
